MGA Education and Community Group tour booking system

MGA provides FREE tours to schools and community groups all year round. MGA’s tours are available Tuesday-Friday, 9am-4pm.

You can customise your visit to MGA using the options below.

1. Please select as many components of your visit as required. These selections determine the total duration of your visit. Please ensure you include any free time you may require (listed at the bottom of the page in blue).

Our most common tour for Studio Arts is: 60 minute Behind the scenes plus 30 minutes free time.
The most common tour for Community Groups is: 30 minute tour of the exhibitions plus 30 minutes free time.

2. Once you have selected all the components of your visit, please select continue at the bottom of the page. On the screen that follows, you will be shown a calendar with all the available date and time options that fit your selected tour length.

Due to popular demand, MGA provides a basic overview of the workings of a museum for year 11 students (units 1&2) for schools who wish to begin this content early. A cut-back 'Behind the Scenes' tour that includes the gallery storage area. Particularly popular at the end of the school year before setting summer holiday homework that requires self-directed visits to galleries.
